As a follow up I want to let you know that Instacast updates are delayed, because the Apple review team decided to hold updates until they make up their minds about what to do with Flattr in iOS apps. That's really not a nice move. People are waiting for bug fixes and the timing couldn't be more problematic. I don't know how long this will take. If Apple does not give me an answer by tonight, I will submit Instacast 2.0.1 without Flattr integration. It is simply not fair to all users to hold back such an important update.
Instacast HD 1.1.3 is also in review now for more than 3 weeks. It fixes crashes and improves some iCloud Sync issues. I am willing to give this update more time, because I think the Flattr integration is important for a lot of people and there should be an official decision by Apple if they allow it or not. Disallowing Flattr on iOS could be really damaging for the business model of Flattr as well as for artist and producers. I don't want this to happen and I am willing to fight for this.
If there is no official decision until WWDC in June, I think I will have the chance to ask Apple directly. Last year they were giving app developers face-to-face access to the review team. This year as well, I hope.
