Can I export recordings to my Mac or PC?

Exporting audio recordings from your iPhone or iPod Touch is not possible at the moment. The first version of Snowtape Phone included a mechanism for exporting recordings but this feature hasn't been approved by Apple. Please see this blog article.

We also think that using the iTunes file sharing mechanism won't be approved, because essentially it's not a technical but a copyrights issue. We must accept that Apple can't allow copying music from a mobile device to a desktop computer if the rights to that music are not fully owned by the user. This rule is consistent with the iPod music loading behavior where iTunes does not allow you to load music back from your iPod if it wasn't purchased in the iTunes Store.

We have some ideas how to get to the audio recordings without including an export feature into the iPhone app, but we need some additional time to develop such a solution. Please stay tuned.
